The keyboards play an Em7 to Bm in the intro and verses, while Alun Hull
is playing a 7thsus2 and a minor 7th on capoed acoustic guitar.
Without the benefit of bass guitar and keyboards to emphasise the root,
the A7sus2 to Em7 guitar chords I don't feel are distinct enough for one
guitar on it's own, so I've opted to show Am7 to Em7 as the chord change
in the verses, you could also use these in the intro too if you wish.

Just like the riff around the A at the end of the chorus, the mandolin
riff in the intro that comes in for 8 bars just before the vocal can be
simulated on guitar by adding the riff notes on the 1st and 2nd strings
to the two intro chords.

You could improvise around these shapes:
A7sus2  = x02000    Em11 = 020005
A13sus2 = x02002    Em7  = 020003
A7sus2  = x02003    Em9  = 020002
                    Em7  = 020030

At the end of verses 2, 3 & 4 as the stop on the Em sustains, you could
add the bass beats with the open bottom string over those 2 bars.

CAPO: 7th fret (Will then sound in the original recorded key of Em)

Chord names and fret positions are relative to the capo:
A7sus2 = x02000    Em    = 022000    A7      = x02223
Em7    = 020000    Gmaj7 = 320002    A *     = x02225
Em9    = 020002    Cmaj7 = x32000    Cmaj7-5 = x34000
Am7    = x02010    G     = 320033    G *     = 32000x
C      = x32010    A     = x02220    Gmaj7 * = 32400x
D      = xx0232    A6    = x02222    G6      = 320000

[Verse 1]
Am7                             Em7
Bashee playing magician sitting lotus on the floor,
Am7                         Em7               Em9
Belly dancing beauty with a power driven saw,
Am7                                Em7
Had my share of nightmares, didn't think there could be much more,
     C                  D              Em   N.C.
Then in walked Roderick Usher with the Lady Eleanor

[Verse 2]
N.C.    Am7                               Em7
She ...tied my eyes with the ribbon of a silken ghostly thread,
  Am7                                Em7                     Em9
I gazed, with troubled vision, on an old four - poster bed,
      Am7                           Em7
Where Eleanor had risen to kiss the neck below my head,
     C               D                    Em   N.C.
Then bid me come a - long with her to the land of the dancing dead

[Chorus]
N.C.     C    D      Gmaj7       Cmaj7 C    D      Gmaj7       Cmaj7

[Verse 3]
    Am7                                    Em7
She gazed with the love and beauty, like a mother to a son,
     Am7                           Em7                  Em9
Like living, dying, seeing, being, all rolled into one,
      Am7                             Em7
Then, all at once, I heard some music playing in my bones,
    C                 D                     Em       N.C.
The same old song I'd heard for years, re - minding (a -) me of home

[Chorus]
N.C.     C    D      Gmaj7       Cmaj7   C    D      Gmaj7       Cmaj7

[Verse 4]
       Am7                             Em7
Then...creeping on towards me, licking lips with tongues of fire,
  Am7                             Em7
A host of golden demons screaming lust, and base desire,
    Am7                                 Em7
And when it seemed for certain that the screams could get no higher,
  C                  D              Em    N.C.
I heard a voice, a - bove the rest, screaming you're a liar

[Chorus & Coda]
N.C.     C    D      Gmaj7       Cmaj7   C    D      Gmaj7       Cmaj7
